Replying to posts on mobile proving difficult

If that doesnt work scroll to the bottom of the home page and look for style chooser drop box

select dark without quick page jumps

 

What exactly is happening and what device are you using

 

In last couple of days I've noticed similar on Samsung
The curser jumps around or drops down the page

The text moves sometimes too

Any ideas @SimonW

Seems to be working ok

There's an app called Gboard in the playstore , testing the keyboard it's much better than the Samsung keyboard that is default on android

So far it seems to be working fine on here without glitches so give it a try

You can always switch back if needs be but it seems there's a bug in the Samsung keyboard

 

Can't see any issues using the Gboard keyboard... So give it a try and let me know

After a few tests I haven't noticed any glitches... Predictive text is a lot better too

 

Nothing has been changed at this end in the last few days and I'm not having it on Stock Android so I suspect based on what @king karl has posted that its a Samsung update. That's the problem with Samsung phones, good hardware but they have a habit of replacing things that really don't need to be replaced; with their own custom versions rather than using the perfectly good Stock Android. Gboard is the stock android Keyboard.

It's not even as if Samsung did something groundbreaking with their keyboard, there are some fairly good ones that do some interesting things especially fi you write a lot on your phone and are willing to put in some short term work to learn different ways to type that save time in the long run (Such as Swiftkey) but if they arent doing that they should stick with what works

 

Just testing my Samsung phone (A52 5G).

Seems to be working fine.
