What a refreshing change to see a man in the middle not blowing his whistle every 30 seconds when players went down. Thought it was the best performance of a man in the middle I have seen for quite sometime.

I bet the Pulse found something to moan about with the ref.

Thought the same let a lot go which usually get pulled up for, just let himself down with OB's booking which I thought was rather harsh compared to what their right back got away with earlier ,but agree probably best ref we have had this season

Ah okay I saw it as a good tackle played the ball and then pulled for foul

The Ref's name was Eddie Ilderton. I thought it was one of the best displays in years - on a par with Pat Partridge and Steve Baines. Well done, that man.

There were several hundred people around me moaning at the ref when he allowed Plymouth to play on when chicksen was down.
In contrast last week when a Fleetwood man was down we put the ball out!!!
Why are we so naive? We need to get tougher and nastier if we are to survive.

Great to see some positive comments regarding a referee’s performance, rather than the usual whinging. Makes a refreshing change!

I thought he was really good. One incident in the second half when he lost control of the game and a few nasty tackles went in but that aside, nothing wrong. And that was only a 30 second period. Refreshing to see in this division.

You’re wrong. Just watched the replay and there were no ‘vociferous remarks’ from O’B. He didn’t even show any anger/frustration until the card was shown.

Most supporters are fair minded and know the difference between a good ref and a bad one, Unfortunately the bad outweigh the good at the moment, Supporters will say it as it is and criticise bad ones and give praise to the good and that is how it should be.

Ours too on Friday. Controlled the game well.

Probably have a positive attitude due to the fact Accrington Stanley weren't timewasting at every opportunity, however.

Exactly what we said at the match

Frigging hell, we got an intense NKP AND a great ref
