A disaster at the start, a bit of a purple patch in the middle, and a disaster at the end.
Dubious what if any positives to build on for next season, but it’s more league two regardless.

I went for a 2. Abysmal start and watching SM fall to bits in interviews and reading some of the stuff written about him wasn't nice. Upturn when he went was enjoyable but very short lived we've soon reverted to doing what got us into trouble in the first place. Some decent football but the majority has been national league level and not worthy of being viewed in the football league. I personally think our managers now deserve a crack at next season see how we get going but I have to say (no disrespect to him) if Andy Cook is a top target that doesn't exactly fill me with enthusiasm were going after top end players for this level.

2 as I liked our strike force initially Rowe and cook. We could have walked the playoffs if we could have got it right with a plan b.

Given the lack of ambition by the owners and the people in the management running City- that put us in the dire position in December it would be minus 1.
We are now expected to be grateful for surviving relegation when all along it was just sustaining a place in div 2 any way. The Vaughan debacle, how we approached the cap and the lack of decent incoming players it was about managing the money. Fine but do not give us the second hand car salesman patter and raise our hopes to sell season tickets as many then feel let down.
The 21/22 ST patter has already begun but proof will be in the eating of the pudding. With what has gone on over the last few years some people have had enough and during the pandemic have found other things to do and will take some convincing. -
2. Aim was top 10 and we aren’t in line for that, so it can’t be considered a ‘3’ which would be meeting that expectation.
we should be pushing for the playoffs but have capitulated, which has been agonizing to watch. -
1. The terrible start with various lies from those in charge of the club, Stuart’s stubbornness and melt down.
January seemed good at the time and the run was positive but a false dawn and we missed out of the playoffs. If we’d made the playoffs it would have been a 3. If we’d gone up via the playoffs a 4.
Not confident about next season, I think Sparks buggered up with the contract unless there’s a rerun to previous roles clause at the end of the season. -
i think it would help next season if people stopped thinking city are a big team in league 2 and except we are a average to poor league 2 team .

Would love to get a season ticket again and enjoy my football at VP but I fear it would be a waste of time and effort if not money. I long for a new owner, positive statement of intent and a forward looking strategy.

Internal appointments in very key positions - from the board room to the managers - all extremely inexperienced in their actual roles.
But here, I'll tell you what will change it up. If we're losing business due to being perceived as cheapskates...
... we should telegraph that we're gonna reduce the playing budget next season months and months in advance.
Problem solved, back to being a premium product
Now that's how you run a business. -

It's a 3 for me - don't forget we only had a 5 point scale to choose from. I reckon that if we had stayed near the bottom and then T & S had gradually got us to the position where we are then there would have been a much better response from all on here. The problem is that we looked to be heading for better things when another rot set in, I'm not a happy clapper, only a realist and yes - how we are doing now is supermeh, but it won't stop me getting my season tickets for another go next season. That's football!

With 1 being relegation and 5 being champions, it has to be a 2. One to forget and hopefully we put it right next season.
With T&S in charge though I expect another 2. -
