Random memorabilia

I had thousands of programs and gave them all to my nephew, including the City v BPA, last match at Park Avenue and their last match before going bust (Great Harwood ?)

 

USG not a collector but will put both stuff in a frame..... I liked the look of them and always wanted a Avenue v City programme...didn't pay lots

 

When BPA went out of the league they were replaced by Cambridge United, long time ago that was. I remember it, my dad (long gone now) was a BPA supporter, he was born on Canterbury estate though.

 

Have the matchday programme for the home game against Lincoln City 1985,

Yes you are right season 69/70 was BPA last season as a league club to be replaced by Cambridge at the start of the 70/71 season (scary to think they are now in a league above us) their last league home game being against Scunthorpe who had a young lad by the name of Kevin Keegan in their side
I collect programmes and have a full set of BPA home and away from their final season hoping one day they may become valuable

 

Late 80s would be my guess I bought my future wife one hoping she would get interested in football
Needless to say it didn't work

 

I thought my ex future wife might have got me it but that would have been 90s

 

Could be right I loose track of time

I've got a signed football from 1st premier league season .....not really into this sort of crap , but my sister gave me the football .......and 20 years later she told me she bid in an charity auction for it £ 350.......I seem a bit ungrateful ....a leather football with scrawled pen all over it .....gave it to nephew,who's probably kicking it around a park
