Good piece Jon and another (the second) big piece by Richard Sutcliffe in today's Yorkshire Post.

 

Richard Sutcliffes article is a lot more optimistic than the one from @JonButterfield , I agree it may take a year or two to recover financially and get these wasters off the books but the 13,000 season ticket holders have every right to expect to have a real go at going up next season. If Rupp will back us we can at the very least be a competitive side next season as I still think a few of our underachievers will go elsewhere, plus the six loanees, though we want Paudie back. Then I can't see any of our out of contract players being retained so there must be some space for Bowyer to recruit. Incidentally @wetherbywhaler do we have a sell on for McBurnie as I hear mixed reports on this one.

 

Yes, as was common practice with anyone in the time of JR and ML. Don't know about dealings after the sale of the club as I left the Board at that point.

 

I really wouldn’t flatter yourself, Bronco Talk is usually a step or three behind the Cow’s Arse in knowing what’s going on and WOAP I assume have Julian Rhodes, McCall and Mason on their favourite callers list, just like Sutcliffe and Parker.

 

The Yorkshire post is the best place to find out what is going on at the club Sutcliffe is close to Rhodes

 

It took at least 10 years to recover from Richmond so you could argue 5 is optimistic

But whilst you tagged me your possibly correct as it was one way of getting stuff out to fans who thought the sun shines out of Rahics ars at the time, why are some of you guys obsessed who got it out first, the thing was we got the Rahic situation out as he certainly did a good job of conning Rupp.

I want to move on asap from it but as I have a brain I can understand why we aren't suddenly transformed and spanking everyone we play, because to think that is to underestimate how much edin fecked the job. We won't ever get the good times back acknowledging edin all the time this threads already depressed me again lol, we gotta be mindful of why we're shit but do our best to forget the man so we can all move forward and pretend eventually that it was just a bad bosnian/german dream.

 

I neither tagged you nor said who got wind of Rahic’s ways first. I said that other sources are ahead of BT in getting news first. Nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with who cottoned on to Rahic first. If in your world it was you and you alone, or it was somebody else who did that, honestly I couldn't give a shit.

I referred to BT as Bronco Talk, as others do, because you’re on each thread a lot.

I said don’t go thinking Sutcliffe is influenced or informed by reading BT, him, Parker and WOAP have got much better contacts and sources than here.

I think you’re protesting too much Bronco, seeing things where they don’t exist.

 

Why is it that a lot of Parkers stories seem to come after being posted on here? Everybody was posting similar that some of the stories etc are generated from on here.
