Rahic and Rupp Out

Time to go Edin.

 

Amber when they first bought city they said the other club they were interested in was rangers. God can you imagine how the Rangers fans would be reacting in a similar situation? I think us city fans have been quite patient until now.

 

The truth is the club as become very amateurish in its approach since the takeover.
Distribution of season tickets.
Shocking stock levels and service in the club shop.
The appointment of a coach who thinks it's right to let the players choose who takes penalties in a competition were a game is concluded by them in the event of a draw at full time.
Media releases and interviews.
Recruitment and transfer dealings say no more.
I could go on and on, the above are just a few examples.
Supporters of our club are given every opportunity by the club to moan and complain.
They ask for it week in week out.
We limp from one fiasco to another very rarely taking a breath to heap praise on those who run the club such is the amateurish way we are run and dealt with as paying customers.
With no apparent changes on the horizon I can only see the club continue to fall from grace taking a very supportive fan base with it.
We don't all moan for the sake of it.
We care what happens to our club that's why some choose to vent their anger in various ways and that will never change.
All I would say to those in charge, stop giving us so many opportunities to do it.
Sell up before it's to late and let's get back to being a professionally run football club.

 

Given all those things have been an issue at City for years (with maybe the exception of the penalty shoot out issue) which professional regime are we going "back to"?

 

It's time for them to go before it turns nasty.

Edin needs to get rid of Collins and reset. Hope that a better manager can get results.

If not and he sticks with the clueless Collins then this is going to get real nasty.

I don't want it too but I know it will.

Just sell up!

He made himself very scarce latter end of last season.
The flack then, will be nothing to whats coming if he continues to destroy our club.

 

I'm going to cut Rupp a bit of slack. He's the money man and has financed the club far better than Lawn imo. Whichever you look at it, financially we are a million miles away from getting the begging bowl out because we can't afford a measly 100k.

Rahic on the other hand is completely clueless and is running the club from top to bottom to make matters worse. For as long as he's in charge making all the major decisions, we will continue to be amateurish on and off the pitch.

 

Rupp needs to take some responsibility here. He’s invested serious money in the club and seemingly left it in the hands of an ameteur. Surely he must see that a business like a football club can not be micro managed? Surely a bloke like him should realise that you need experts in every crucial part of the business?

 

All this makes me think that the agreement between the two was that Edin invests his savings and that he runs the operation side of the business.

Rupp doesn't seem to want to get involved in the club.

It's just not working and the club is getting damaged.

They need to sell.

 

Maybe rupp doesn’t need to sell. He just needs to buy rahic out and install a proper manager and proper managing director.

Personally, if it were me, I’d be sending rahic a bankers draft today then getting on the phone to Mick McCarthy and Dave Baldwin

 

Rupp has no interest in football, His first love is motor racing, BCFC is purely an investment for him and if it starts to go wrong he will eventually act

 

Like everyone on here I could put up with a rocky season so long as we avoid relegation
But going forward and without a complete change in policy (highly unlikely) what hope can be offered for the near and long term future,all the negatives have been well documented on here but am yet to see a positive on how to drive the club forward.
This could help restore faith in the management, credit to them for putting their hands in their pockets but it smacks of a lack of business acumen when the most important ingredient within the club the supporters,the manager,and all key personnel are becoming ever more alienated. So much time taken in deciding to buy the club (due diligence ??) quite obviously didn't pay any dividends. Yes I think to coin a phrase they have taken the club as far as they can go (unfortunately backwards) and it's time to consider cutting their losses
Who the next custodians of our club will be is anybody's guess but hopefully they will have some background into running a forward thinking L1 football club( and trust) in qualified people that do

 

Rangers fans would be at the ground day and night demanding they leave. Our fans get funny looks for boos at half time.

 

If the majority of supporters want them to go then this needs to be shown in a more united way other than message boards and individual twitter rants. A group needs to lead mass protests, boycott of merchandise and catering etc. Yes, it will hurt the club in the short term, however, if we are serious about getting these owners out of OUR club then WE need to be more proactive, just like other clubs have been.

 

Could rupp get rid of rahic? That could be a way forward
