    Radio 2 these days I think, don’t listen to that either, Steve ‘serious jockin’ - no G’ Wright makes me come over all homicidal. There used to be a piss take on some show of her talking about bands that hadn’t even been formed and how she heard them first. Can’t be doing with her.

    But I'm with you on Steve Wright. WTF is that 'serious jockin' - no G' all about? It's unlistenable, embarrassing, mindless crap. It makes me cringe. And people actually call, email and tweet in with their own inane variations! Radio for morons. The man should have been pensioned off years ago.

    Marc and Lard on Radio 1 early 2000s were absolutely hilarious. We used to stop working to listen to some of their stuff, which was pretty risque for BBC standards.

    Oh and how the hell does Moyles still get a gig on Radio X, he's basically done the same show over again for over 20 years. Johnny Vaughn on the same channel is very good though.

    I used to stop work as well and laugh out loud while sitting in my BT van.

    Missing words was brilliant. I vividly remember an episode when I was decorating an attic room. I stopped to listen to it and the song was Prince, Purple Rain. Lard was singing along to the words then it stopped after purple and he said helmet instead of rain. Very immature but I was creased.
