I listened to Radio Leeds in ifollow and if I could have I would’ve listened to The Pulse any day.

At least Jason has some personality.

Tim Steere, nice bloke that he is, is just boring, and the co-commentator Andy Kiwomya has about as much personality as a dishcloth.

The Pulse everytime for me.

 

Put a microphone on any City fan and you would get a similar commentary to Jason Thornton and his guest summariser. 50 percent talking about the game and 50 percent talking about where they're going for a curry after the game.

 

When you listen to Andy K. commentating you realise how insightful Wayne Jacobs was , easy to listen to and made intelligent comments. A big miss for Radio Leeds.

 

What a complete over reaction from some on here . Love listening to Thornton and sticks before he quit .

 

Yes the do. Of course they do. Its just that you don't like them and have cosied up to radio L666ds to listen to the drawl and drivel they come out with. I think its the fact they speak a lot slower on Radio L666ds that appeals to you.

 

When Radio Leeds is an option (appreciate its sometimes not), then why would anyone listen to the Pulse? It’s been tinpot for so long.

 

You’ve clearly never listened to Tim Steer and Andy Kiwomya. If they’re the other ‘option’, then I have to disagree with you.

Not a fan of Jason (WOAP), but he’s still much better than Kiwomya. Almost sent me to sleep. And don’t get me started on their discussion about a moth....!

exactly my point. I set off from Skipton a while back and got to Bingley before I knew what the score was. Knew Jason was having a chicken bhuna though.

Fair play to Jason. He did ask the questions of playing 1 up front and why Killa not involved again. However, Mr Collins refused to elaborate on the Killa situation and more or less swerved the 1 striker up front question

 

Loves sitting on the fence does Thornton. 'It wasn't a good penalty but it wasn't a bad one' was said twice if i recall.

 

Who was his co commentator. I only flicked it on for the penalties. Was it Jason from WOAP?

 

Have to agree, the Pulse has become micky mouse in recent years but at least you can laugh about it, radio Leeds would put a glass eye to sleep.

Some people take trivial stuff far to seriously.

 

I don't mind Jason Thornton, he's passionate, he's a fan just like us, yes he does get a little carried away every now & then but I'd rather have that than some bore who's tone makes you want to jump off the nearest bridge.
It's not pleasant listening to us at the best of times without that pain.

Jason (WOAP) always does pretty well when he's on the wireless too.

 

Pull the other one mate. You listen to the pulse in secret and don't tell your midgets. Shame on you.

 

Found a link on audioboom but although it says Southend post match it’s actually from before the game last Thursday.

 

I just heard a lot of commotion over a very large, moth-like creature.

 

When one is a captive audience , stuck in a sick bed, and having to listen to the pair of Jasons (Thornton/Mc Ewan,
who flatly refuse to commentate on the match being played, and instead they chat between themselves, like
a pair of washer women, with no regards to what is happening on the field of play, they seem to think it is more
important, to inform listeners of obscure latest scores of teams, which we,as Bradford city followers, have absolutely
no interest in. I ended up turning off the radio, out of frustration with these two individuals,with twenty minutes to go, it was that bad, and I found out the final score ,later, on the T.V.
I will not be tuning in to that radio channel (Pulse) any time soon!!
