Isn't the Green Man closed now? I went in about 2 years ago, just the same as 20 years prior....areas change.......I can recall loads on Leeds Rd BD3, I used to meet my pal outside the Reynolds factory 5pm Friday and just head towards town,The Napier, The Lemon Tree, The Cemetery, White Bear, Waggon & Horses, Oak Inn, The Albion.

The Junction is the pub I miss most, it had a reet eclectic mix of clientele, young and old, been nothing like it since it closed and Bradford's totally lost it's soul anyhow.

On the other hand I can think of 4 bars that have opened withing a mile of my house in 2 years, no point in fighting change or reminiscing about the past, I go out to Baildon, Saltaire, Idle or Leeds and have a great time.

I'm too young to have ever drank in here, but we lived close by, and I remember it been there as a kid.

In adulthood I'm back in that area, living just up the road.

it's an ice cream parlour at present isn't it?

I say parlour, more an ice cream front for more dodgy dealing, but you get the drift.

    Hare & Hounds - Undercliffe

Many a great night there, and over the road in the Malt Kiln, in the mid to late 70's/early 80's. Even mid week they were both rammed, with a brilliant atmosphere, and some friendly young ladies!

Often bumped into Don Hutchins enjoying a drink or two, cracking fella, who was always happy to enjoy a good craic with you

My grandads local, he lived just round the corner when i was a kid. I remember brother Eamonn well, my dad and his brother used to go here regularly in the eighties and nineties and i tagged along in my early drinking days. Great times.

The bloke who owned the Bingley Tavern also owns the Harvesters in Bingley. Told me it wasn't worth the hassle so just sold the building off. It was good on a Friday/Saturday as they always made an effort with bands and live music but through the week it's empty. The day drinkers go to the Potting Shed or the Harvesters when it comes to Bingley nowadays.

Not sure Mark has any thingvto do with the Dog & Gun, but he is part owner in the new pub in Wibsey called the Garden Shed.
I heard Barry Gallagher was the owner/landlord at the Dog & Gun.
