Aww them poor professional sportsmen, “getting all that crap”...they are in a results business. All fans want is effort and backbone which is the bare minimum for any sportsman. Take your high horse elsewhere, thanks.

 

They may not go out to play badly. But many don’t give a shit and at least a couple stopped trying yesterday.

Honest to god. This is the worst ever start in our entire history. We’re the worst team in the country this calendar year. And criticism of the players at the heart of it offends your sensibilities??!!

 

Spot on for most of the fans I talk to. Don't like Edin, but see boycotts and protests as attacking the club, unless anyone is going to buy them out.

 

@JonButterfield can we set up a new fund to buy the players plenty of this they are feeling hard done by.

 

Pretty pointless throwing things at them, they seem pretty skilled at dodging anything coming their way

 

When we rock up in The National League people like you will deserve it.

 

The players have imho got of lightly , most of the booing etc has been directed at Rahic , when teams come to VP ( away teams ) we spend most of the game cat-calling booing and the like dosen't seem to effect them . They are supposed to be tuned to ignore the crowd reaction , they milk the accolades when they score , it goes with the territory i'm affraid .

Not fit to lace the boots of recent sides at City. All recruited by people who don’t know football and it’s any wonder we are where we are.

Clear the way for footballing people to make footballing decisions again and we will be ok and moving back up the leagues

 

I think its a bit deeper than the negativity of the fans, although i do admire your sentiment to a degree. I know for a fact Hopkin lays into them after losses and that some players don't react well to this. Thats why some of them look frightened to death when they come out on to the pitch. But its gone past the point of arms round shoulders bollocks. They have to stand up to be counted and i didn't see any of that yesterday. Sometimes, regardless of the well meaning of supporters, things are broken beyond repair and those things have to be thrown away and replaced with new. Thats where we are at Bradford City. We aren't just getting beat by bottom 6 sides, we are getting a dry bumming from them. The situation will only change when the rotten apple has been discarded from the fruit bowl. How we get rid of that rotting piece of fruit remains to be seen.

 

They’ve had remarkably little stick inside the ground. The fans have generally stuck with them and they’ve been rewarded by players downing tools.

If I was as shite at my job as they are there's, or gave as little effort as they do, I would be sacked with no sympathy.

 

Recruitment of shit players and mentally weak players. The perfect storm for relegation. Parkinson researched and probably interviews all his signings. I reckon he would have got a few wins out of this lot.

 

Every post match is the same. Everyone goes through the match day squad trying to come up with superlatives to express how totally useless they all are and how they should be shown the door. I find it all a bit bemusing tbh. We have a large squad the majority of which seem to have mystery injuries and illnesses designed to keep them all safe and warm on match days. Some have discipline problems that rule them out and others are deemed un-pickable because they are deemed too young and fragile. (Making you wonder what on earth they are doing here). At least the NKP's and the O'Connors of this world put their head above the parapet week in, week out. They may be poor but for me they should be way down the list of those to be shown the door. First out should be those with no stomach (or leg, or groin or back) for the fight.

 

So what is your answer to the present crisis our club is in, didn't get to Gillingham but made the Coventry game and over all the players got very good encouragement and great vocal suport during the game.
Fans are at there wits end with what's going on at our club we either let it carry on and accept it or we try and change the way the owners are doing things, I would prefer a change of ownership of because I'm not sure Edin can change.

 

I think this is what most people take issue with. There is pretty much 100% agreement that we lack quality but that shouldn't mean the players show a lack of fight, desire and commitment. We want to see players that care and have some pride in themselves and the shirt they are paid to wear. Is that too much to ask for?
