This has to be the stupidest question ever asked.
I know, let’s forfeit promotion because it’s 100% guaranteed next season...lol

 

I'm in the @Fordy117 camp on this one, in so much as we shouldn't be in this division. The fact that we are is entirely of our own making.
So getting promotion only puts us back where we were three seasons ago.
If that buffoon hadn't started meddling we could be so much higher up the league.
So promotion this season and a monster party next season when we clinch promotion to the Championship.

 

The issues at this club in the last 4-5 years is down to those in the boardroom and those close, in decision making capacity headed by that bloody idiot, Rahic.

I understand exactly what you infer but when you say, "The fact that we are is entirely of our own making" is certainly not down to the fans.

It's down to the decision makers, primarily Rahic.

 

If we win promotion this season nothing on earth is going to stop a promotion party at Valley parade

 

It would be nice to return to VP watching L1 football.

So, in answer to the question. I'll take promotion this season thank you and push on again next season with some momentum behind us.

 

Fans do have a part though.

Fans shouldn't ever lower expectations from the club. We are failing currently and have for years. Off the pitch the club has been an embarrassment.

Some fans are just happy to tick. However, them same fans just think a mobile phone is just a phone!! Out of date and not in the real world of today.

 

I see your point Fordy117. Some of our fanbase seemed happy enough to have the financier on board with little expectation, even non critical of the regression at this club.

I don't get that particular line of thinking.

 

Promotion first will cause a knock-on effect on the season ticket take-up,

which should help the club continue to bring in better players.

It's ludicrous we are in this league. Get out ASAP and concentrate on getting back to the top end of L1 and kicking on from there towards the Championship
