    I just wrote a MASSIVE text for my profile page, giving an insight into my interesting life - including my real name, likes and dislikes, potted history of how I ended up in Tallinn and what I do here, and when I pressed save it said "your text contains spam words" and wouldn't post it :(

    What spamwords? How am I meant to describe something, if it comes across as spam? :D

    No one would have read it anyway, so I don't know why I am complaining, but just interested to know what the spamwords are!

    Although if the software thinks it contains spam... loadsa numbers or links it won't send it

    There weren't any links or numbers at all. Weird. Maybe it was something to do with the fact that I mentioned I used to work for a processed meat company when in the UK? ;)

    We do have a fairly long list of spam words. Some of these can be fairly normal words but in the context of this forum only generally come up in spam posts which is why they are on there. If it was a post I could actually tell you what word you actually triggered on but the log doesn’t seem to show that for profiles.

    It’s always that difficult situation with spam words lists you want to stop spam but need to limit the impact on normal users. Atleast on posts the log suggests we aren’t doing too bad, there are a couple of people who have had posts blocked in the last month but it’s prevents significantly more spam posts
