The poor short term form and the injuries to nearly all our forwards are a bit of a concern but can be rectified in time

What I don't get is Sparks putting something in place at the club that will benefit the club long term which is a head of recruitment and then getting rid of it the second a manager isn't keen on the outcomes

The head of recruitment position isn't about pleasing the head coach by giving him everything he desires it's about continuity in the long term and making sure Bradford City are in a stronger position when the current gaffer leaves

If Turnbull wasn't the man why was he appointed and furthermore when is the replacement getting recruited and how long will they be here for

Very worrying signs under Sparks that everything is super short term easy come easy go hero today fired tomorrow

That's no way to run any business

Problems on the pitch right now are dwarfed by those off it in my opinion too many weak characters at the top of the club at this rate they might as well make Adams the acting Chief Executive as well as Head Coach

I don’t think our owner is particularly bothered whether we are challenging for promotion. He might be looking more at Ryan Sparks down the line, if Derek Adams doesn’t work out.

I'll leave it like this, money doesn't bring success. But it gives a you better chance of getting it than if you havent got it. Otherwise clubs would just spend as much as Morecambe. And it's nothing to do with desire, we're only 8 games into the season. I'll guarantee you every player on that pitch wants to succeed, just sometimes you lack the vital ingredients.

The nature of their reality is that they're constantly trying to impress as best they can, because they live in a world of huge competition, short not particularly lucrative contracts and are desperate to stay in the first team, if not the first eighteen, to keep their careers going. They may have off days and drops in confidence, but believe me, it's extremely rare that they're lazy.

 

We create what could be described as good chances which should be taken. The failure is in not recruiting a goal scorer. Maybe Adams put his trust in Turnbull and has decided to do things his way, as with the sports science department.

Which of the players are over paid in your opinion? I'm guessing Evans may be on a lot more than he is worth, but other than that, who else, given that we got rid of the last of the inflated wages from the Edin era this summer?
