    Is it a similar situation to our Tyrell I wonder. Doubt there will be much info about it, and will probably go on for years. I suppose we'll get to hear an official announcement about suspension or sacking of said player, and then that will be it until he ends up in court (if he does).

    Yep, it's all over the interweb. Already the memes are out. What I meant was, details of the offence. However, unlike TR, I think this is a lot more high profile. Look what happened to Adam Johnson. Details certainly weren't kept quiet about that.

    The initial story I heard was something about a 'paedo hunter' sting that he was caught out with. They went to the Police who followed up with the arrest.

    I've been sent pictures of the supposed 15 year old and it doesn't look much like she could be used in a "sting" as she certainly looks much older in the photo.

    I heard similar to @NorthernMonkey@NorthernMonkey along with pictures of the girl, but it turned out to be a 20 year old girl.

    If it was a peado hunter sting has he actually broken any laws as he would have been texted a grown man pretending to be a kid?

    I remember a photo of a blonde girl circulating during the Adam Johnson stuff, turned out that was some 19 year old model from the US.

    Depends whether he's been messaging other girls too. From what I've seen of these types of sting they set up a profile and wait for men to message them. If they message one, it's very likely they've messaged more.
