I still think a lack of a general in the middle will result in us defending more than creating chances for Vaughan. Likewise, with no better options than Colville and/or Gibson, I just don’t see where we will create the chances for our forward line.

It’s not a coincidence in my eyes, that we’ve only scored twice from open play during pre-season.

Until we know of GB's general setup, and how players are deployed, a hard one to call.
Will Palmer be our set piece 'specialist' and corner taker - Or will it be McCartan (unlikely) ?

Looking at the players in our squad, I would expect quite a number of goals to come from all over the park, with an overall (lge) Total of around 75.

Just as importantly ....... How many FEW will City concede ?
GD is not as important as once was, but it helps
Last season (I commented at the time), in November Newport were in 3rd place with a GD of minus two.

 

I'd fully expect Omari to end up in negative figures by the end of the season.

Vaughan will be our top scorer with roughly 5467 league goals. another 2336 in the cups.

 

He'll do a Bruenker and score A goal and celebrate like he's won the World Cup. Instagram will melt.
