Love your optimism, your like a one person cheerleading team!
My glass is normally half full, but I can’t see it now, 10th on 65 for me.
BUT........wouldn’t it be a totally City thing to do?
Lose the bankers then win the next five!!
If they win tonight and results keep going our way I just might start believing again!!

Tranmere: on a dreadful run (so were Crawley and Harrogate), they are just outside the automatics and have everything to play for (expect a Vaughan hat trick!).
Port Vale: mid table mediocrity, but they are the ‘form’ team over the last six games with five wins and a draw(expect a Guthrie hat trick!).
Salford City: new manager in Bowyer (expect a swashbuckling attacking display!), mixed fortunes lately, one point ahead of us and still with an outside chance of the play offs.
Scunthorpe: still to mathematically safe, expect a pragmatic (park the bus!) performance.
Morecambe: sitting one place outside the automatics, last game of the season. Will they be resting for the Play Off’s, or busting a gut to get the final promotion place.
Being City I can see us getting 2/3 points as other teams ‘want it more’ than us, alternatively we could go on a worldly run!
Personally I think 63 points and 12th!PlatinumChaosX likes this. -

Cooke has been a massive loss to the team and it is good to see him back! hopefully with this we get a few results now!
I will say this reminds me of the 'bottle' season with bowyer where we were a win from 3rd for a few weeks and we just couldn't do it. I think the same is happening this year and I am expecting a drop off in form. that being said I think some of these poor results are down to injuries too. we come back next season with a few signings and autos are on the cards!PlatinumChaosX likes this. -
Even if we got 68, I don't think that will be enough for 7th. With our GD, that means Newport, Exeter, Orient and Carlisle have to lose 4 of their last 5 or 6 games in every case, just asking to much for that to happen to all those clubs.PlatinumChaosX likes this. -

We'll lose vs Tranmere, Salford & Morecambe, draw with Vale and beat Scunny to end a disappointing 13th (although would've obviously taken that in December).
