He is an inspiration to us all, people who feel they are hard done by or complain constantly about a small personal issue should take note of his courage and focus on enjoying each day to the full and appreciate the positives in there life.
The fact he is working so unsealfishly and hard on raising funds for which no one would for a second expect of him is amazing.

Every time I see an interview with SD I respect him even more.
The way he and Rimmer are dealing with their illnesses is so commendable in what must be the toughest of situations.
Sent the link to my dad this afternoon and he simply replied:
“What a man.” -
Liverpool Football Club have created a video (link below) with an interview with Darby.
It features Bradford City, some of our ex players.

Darby is a legend for this club but people need to watch this video as it's an eye opener and helps people understand more about the condition.
Don't be think he's a ex footballer who's married to a footballer he doesn't need our support. He needs our support more than ever!Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Captain Grumpy likes this. -

Huge write up about Darby in the Daily Mail when in the morning Daily Mail. He talks about things in detail.
Says how his first signs of MND was when he was playing for us in 2017.
Only been given a few years to live.
Link below.. good read. Important read.

The last sentence sums up Stephen Darby. A fighter, indeed.RCarol likes this. -
Very brave lad, never forget him and Gary Jones coming to an event at The Shoulder Of Mutton Shelf, an evening with Darby & Jones, such a humble lad.
Darby was the quiet one compared to Jonesy but once in the mood Darbs got into the swing of things he came out of his shell, both typical scousers.Fordy117 likes this. -
