    It seems that Coventry could be expelled from the league. If this happens then only 3 clubs will be relegated from league 1.
    4th bottom could be safety

    It'd be a shallow victory to avoid relegation because of another club being expelled from the league.

    I can't see Coventry City being expelled. Yes, their owners, SISU, are playing hardball with Wasps Rugby Club, which could well see them evicted from the Ricoh at the end of this season, but it seems they already have a number of ground share arrangements lined up https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47793007; five Midlands EFL grounds, including Burton Albion, have been mentioned.

    Bolton Wanderers, on the other hand, are teetering on the brink. They are in court tomorrow over an unpaid £1.2 million tax bill, their players are on strike and their ground safety certificate has been removed. Liquidation, administration or a late takeover are all possible in the next 24 hours.

    If Bolton were to disappear tomorrow, then their matches this season, would be deleted and the Championship league table amended accordingly. Only two clubs would be relegated from the Championship and this would cascade downwards, with only three relegated from League One and only one club relegated from League Two. The number of clubs promoted would be unchanged.

    The target for City, unlikely as it may be, remains, at this point, climbing four places. Even if both Coventry and Bolton disappeared, it is unlikely to have much impact on the points gap we need to make up.

    What happened with Blackpool? There was rumours of them being deducted points as well although I never really read into it.

    As it was explained to me by the guy currently running the football club, the problems at Blackpool relate to other Companies. The football side is "very viable" which would explain why there have been 60 bids for it. Don't think there is any risk of a points deduction.

    We have to hope we can get that first win under our belts to maybe give the team a little confidence.
    I'll be there on Saturday hoping for 3 points wether the team deliver or not is a different thing.

    we are potentially the worst team in the league and DESERVE to go down, its a good thing relegation isnt based on player ability otherwise we’d be looking at dropping 2 leagues..

    The thing that makes it so bad is the total surrender with ten games to go. Get rid of the lot of em utter bottlers.
