In the previous lockdown, when support bubbles applied and there was no indoor mixing between households, can anyone remember whether crowds were allowed into football grounds?

Football grounds were empty from the very beginning and didn’t open until August this year to most fans, directors excluded.
I still have the unused forest green tickets from April 2020

From Boxing Day all sporting events in Wales will be held behind closed doors so that's Cardiff, Swansea and Newport fans being locked out of their home matches for the forseeable future.

I agree with away tickets being refunded. City won’t care about that because it’s not their loss.
Refunding a table of 12 who’ve paid £65 each for Boxing Day hospitality is a bit different.

We got some tickets refunded last week for some friends who had to cancel coming on Boxing Day due to covid issues.

Dried, Vegan, so probably has a long shelf like. May give you constipation, but you could always wash them down with a nice little (biodynamic) Chianti Riserva, perhaps a 2017 vintage

My point is that you can ask for a refund in any circumstance where the terms and conditions have changed from what you originally purchased.
Whether a City fan should morally claim a refund from the club where circumstances are out of their control is a different matter.
If VP is closed to fans for the rest of the season then technically 13000 people can ask for a refund but how many will?
Those who’ve booked hospitality for Boxing Day could still attend for the re-arranged date and should think twice before rushing down for a refund which will hurt the club

Don't the away club have to buy the tickets upfront and get a refund on any unsold, might be wrong on that, but if they do it is their loss ? I'm pretty sure if you talk to the commercial department you can get a full refund on your table. If not, then a simple section 78 claim on your credit card for an unprovided service will get you it back. Hassle I admit but either way you wont lose out. (Assuming they were paid for on a credit card). The club can ill afford such bad publicity.

Prefer Chateau Neuf Du Pap myself or a nice Argentinian Malbec for easy drinking. Went to a vineyard in Italy a couple of years ago though and had a very nice Chianti Reserva. See I can do culture.

Surely if we face a closed ground the iFollow package will be given to us ? Back to drinking bottles in front of the lap top it is. I'm not against a lockdown if it helps and if packages are made available to save the pubs etc and as long as it come in no earlier than 30th December so it doesn't ruin my "twixmas" break in Keswick.

I’m sorry but an iFollow pass is no substitute and won’t wash with most fans this time.
The club can’t assume that everyone has the means to use iFollow. Are they expecting a 75 year old technophobe to go purchase a £500 laptop and know how to rig it up to the TV? Or will they offer a refund if you want one?

Never heard of Silver Surfers ? Even my 85 year old mother in law has a lap top and uses it. I know its no substitute, but it's better than no football.

According to a post on Facebook by mad Max the Harrogate physio (how would he know) several city players have refused vaccine because they are wanting to start families and are afraid it will affect there fertility. Make of that what you want

TBH I quite enjoy the experience of watching from the comfort of my home, beer in hand, without the need to go out in the cold and damp. If the football on offer from our team was worth watching, creating a buzz in the ground, I'd undoubtedly feel differently. But it isn't. So I don't.

So welsh fans can’t attend their home games but are allowed to travel to away games, catch Covid and take it back to Wales? Seems pointless to me
