Pool and snooker players ....

My friend at Queensbury cues is hand making a cue containing City colours on the butt and will be raffling it off with all monies being donated to the burns unit.

We're thinking of using the lottery numbers and the bonus ball on a certain date.

Just trying to garner if there's any interest and I'll post up completed pictures once it's done.

In the meantime, below is the cue in progress ....

 

Can I take it that the people that liked it would be interested in buying a number?

We're thinking £10 a number for cue, box case and mini butt, which would create a donation of over £500 to the burns unit if successful.

 

Can I also add that the total donation from the supplier is over £300. To buy this from a regular retailer it's also probably double so please get behind this great find raising idea if it's something you may have use for.

 

He's also got a snooker and pool table at his house and it's available for you to trial a few of the cues on before you buy.

It's as simple as just dropping him a message and being available to get up to Queensbury one evening.

 

Right ladies and gentlemen, the cue is all but finished (just waiting for a badge) and I'm ready to start the raffle.

It'll be based on the bonus ball drawn on Saturday May 11th, unless we have a hugely slow uptake on numbers but I don't anticipate that and plenty of notice would be given if we had to push the draw back a week or two to maximise profits for the charity.

Unfortunately, £60 will also be deducted from the total amount as Queensbury cues couldn't source a donation so had to pay the retail cost of the case but I'm sure you'll agree, it's still a very generous gesture given the time and cost needed to hand splice the cue.

I'm not making the number chart whilst tomorrow but anyone wanting to reserve a special number or numbers can do it on here on a first come, first served basis. I haven't posted this anywhere else as yet so until tomorrow take it as all numbers, unless posted here are available.

Numbers will be £10 each and 1-59 I believe is the lottery range

Just select the number and the name that will need adding to the list and payment will be by PayPal or bank transfer once I get the list going.
