    This was a celebration of the APR wardens at Valley parade. My Grandmother Edith Riley was the warden for Girlington. She is the lady at the top left of the tunnel (Text with pic)

    My grandad was arp in Shipley, could be him on the left with the bald head smoking a pipe. Remember his tin hat and greatcoat in his attic. Great photo

    Remember it well. It used to be one of our “ hide and seek” places when we gained entry into the ground after hours. Once it went out of use it was filled in with brick rubble and remained like that for a number of seasons. Happy times!
