For the last 5/6 seasons, Mansfield have a decent budget in League 2 and the brief is always to get promoted. -
11 consecutive seasons in L2 ? -
Nigel will talk you through all the injuries they had.
I think they've had a couple who will miss most of 23/24 the injuries were that bad. -

It makes sense to keep them if they are, as recruiting reliable players for the bench is harder than it looks.
We've had a bunch of squad players this season, and so many have looked incapable.
Ridehalgh has spent time as number 2 and come back strong - Gilliead has played 50 times, so Hughes might see him as a useful utility midfielder... but I hope in both cases we sign very strong competition for places. -

Athletes are as fit as fiddles but, they'd be useless as footballers, much like A.G.
