Players Contracts Expiry date.

    We have offered new Contracts to Paudie O'Connor, Charles Vernam, Elliot Watt, Levi Sutton, Luke Hendrie, and the academy captain Charlie Wood.

    I can see that their contracts expire in June.

    Does anyone know just when in June they finish?

    Is it the last day, a specific day, say when they get their salary, or random dates?

    I guess that until we know what they are doing, then it seems unlikely that City will sign many more players.

    The last day. We have to pay any released players for another month, if they don't find a club.

    June 30th is the expiry date, those that are released such as Evans get 1 extra months salary.

    I think the club will already know who is staying etc. Just not announced as yet.

    I suppose we released ROD, yet he has already signed for Rochdale and would still have had a Contract with City like the others?

    The 2022/23 season starts slightly early this year on 30/7/2022. So the ability to have an assembled squad I would think would help with pre season training. If we have to hang on until the end of June, that could restrict options.

    Players contracts that expire all end June 30 ,but I don’t think players who sign for another club such as O’Donnell will get the extra month salary as Rochdale will be paying him from July 1.
