O'Donnell is near to full fitness. Would you put him straight back into the team or continue with Hornby? Staunton - back in the first eleven or on the bench? Who is Zeli Ismael? Does he really exist?

For me O'Donnell now has to be on the bench and wait for his chance. To be fair to Hornby, he doesn't deserve to be dropped just because O'D is fit again.
Same for Staunton, who do you leave out to accommodate him?
I would like to see more of Canavan too.

I would bring O'Donnell straight back in. He is the better keeper of the two and not totally convinced with Hornby.

I would be tempted to try Staunton at left back. Wood has not been at his best recently and probably on his way in the summer

O'Donnell 100% straight back in but not back as captain.

Paudie is doing a good job as captain

Paudie's the present and future for me as captain. He shouts his nuts off at other players, which is something we've been lacking from a leader for some time.

O'Donnell back in for me too. Hornby has made enough mistakes not to have too much of a case of he was dropped.

ROD's currently the better keeper of the two so imo it makes sense to bring him back in as soon as he's fit.

That would mean 4 centre halves strung out along the back 4 though. It'd hardly be pretty to watch and probably non existent in the attacking 3rd. It's pretty much Colin Todd esque!

Hang on weren't fans slating ROD for not commanding his box, unable to stop long range shots and regularly being beaten at his near post. Caught between a rock and a hard place on this one. Both are equally as bad or as good as each other. Having either in goal will result in regular errors. Hobsons choice for me.

Agree, I think Hornby has too many reckless moments.

When Staunton has gone forward, he has looked pretty good, tho I wouldn't drop Wood for him just yet.

AOC looks good when he goes forward, but it doesn't change the fact both are more defensive/less of an attacking outlet than an out-and-out full back like Wood.

Hornby for me, for the time being. When ROD is beaten at his near post or from distance he has a rant at everyone in front of him, it's never his fault. To be fair Hornby hasn't made many mistakes.

There's not much in it. I'd be tempted to stick with Hornby; he's younger and could improve. The only real issue with him has been his decision making in coming off his line, but I think that can be improved with coaching.

He looks comfortable on the ball but that doesn't mean he's got the ability to contribute to an attacking phase.

Wood however, is the best crosser of a ball at the club. With Novak and Cook available that should be a useful weapon when our wide forward men are used to cut inside and support rather than as an orthodox winger.

I agree he's got to sometimes do better defensively but can't we say that about all of the back 4? I'm just not sure Wood is any worse defensively that any of the others who also go missing and make mistakes just as often.

I'd stick with Hornby for now. I don't think he's done a lot wrong and I think he's better at dealing with high balls than O'Donnell.

I’d bring ROD back when he’s fit personally, Hornby has made some fairly erratic decisions. To be honest though there isn’t a great deal between the two.

I can think of 2 to be honest. Hornby is doing now worse than ROD so deserves to keep the shirt.
