Player of year awards 2021

Watt has been our player of the season for me.

He's the one that Div 1 clubs would want due to his performances this season. Cooke is decent but hes vastly overrated by some on here. His shooting is a disgrace.

Honestly, I would rather they just gave an award to the biggest mug who brought most of Bradford City's Ifollow games.
The players don't deserve any praise.

 

Levi Sutton. The only one in the squad who has shown any energy when needed.

 

I'm not sure why, it's a POTY discussion and obviously can only relate to performances this season. To suggest anything else comes across as a bit of a nonsense.

inclined to agree but he did it for five games or so then went back to hiding like the rest of them

 

What have goals got to do with the player of the year award? As for Callum Cooke, we saw the impact of him not being in the side. Do you honestly believe if AOC was out of the side, we’d actually miss him? For the record here are the last few player of the year winners...

Of the last 7 awards, 5 were defenders and none of the 7 were top scorers. How long has AOC been here and he hasn’t come close to winning this award. Had Canavan been here for the season, his name would probably be up there this year.

 

Nowhere near our best player, his form over the last third of the season was poor. Cooke, Sutton, AOC have been consistently better.

Over the whole season AOC for me. Having said that I would let him go at the end of his contract but I would also let Paudie go as well. Two reasons, I think we need a fresh start in defense, plus AOC is a better defender anyway.

 

True Fordy and I am certain Watt would look much better in a team with better movement off the ball giving him more options which is down to coaching.

 

To each other or backwards to the keeper, putting him under unnecessary pressure....
