I know we have the play offs to come but as we reach the end of the regular season I'm interested to know who gets your vote. Clearly the usual discussion is redundant as Lewis and Cook are far and away our MVPs. So, who gets your 3rd place vote...

I'll start off with Halliday. Yes, he's not glamorous or eye catching but he's been reliable and slightly unsung for me.

When you consider he was out injured for a year. He's just got better and better.

    Halliday for me.
Most of the matches I’ve seen (usually have commentary so harder to tell from that), he’s been the one driving us out from the back.
    Unsung hero imo

Halliday as everyone else has said. But to make it different, Banks has had a good season

Brad Halliday all day long, however there are unsung heroes too.

Gilly,( I wish he had the same skill set as good as his engine) and Stubbs, Clayton since Jan!

Banks yes , on second thoughts I’d have him back, but a bit hot and cold until the last 10 games.

This 'fred makes me feel Brad All Over

First time i saw him i thought, he doesn't look fit enough, bit of a hunchback developing there
But his energy levels are top notch, many of our players esp midfielders could do with his effort

Halliday has been excellent. Stubbs a close second (his lack of pace lets him down, as does the fact he has a turning circle like the QE2 ) and I think Gilliead has had a relatively decent season by his previous standards. Clayton has been a revelation since coming in, which coincided with Smallwoods upturn in performances

To be fair, I don't think there are many at all that we can moan about this season, which is not something we have been able to say for a very long time!

Halliday is a steady 6 or 7 out of 10 most games, For a guy coming back from a serious injury, he has done well.

Yes I like Halliday. I agree Stubbs lacks pace but he more than makes up for it by reading the game so well. He is invariably in the right place.

I agree. The whole team has put a shift in this season. They might not all of have the quality but it is certainly not through lack of effort.

Been a turnaround since Stubbs arrived imo. Solid at the back, and despite his lack of pace, his footballing brain is still sharp. Vocal too, and seems to command the respect of his team mates. No suprise that Halliday has been able to improve, as he's obviously more confident in the centre back pairing.

We've been pretty solid at the back all season to be fair, whether Platt and Crich, Platt and Stubbs or Crich and Stubbs.

I remember us going through a shaky patch, with calls for Chrichlow to be dropped. Just think Stubbs has steadied the ship somewhat whoever he's been partnered with.
