Piece in The Independent

A bit premature. Fingers crossed.

 

The guy who wrote it is a City fan. Seems like an article to clump pieces that's been drip fed into the T&A lately. Most if not everything written has been hinted at in the local rag over the last few weeks, seems to be the same thing just re-written.

 

That’s how journos remote from clubs’s operate . They scan local rags, club social media , Facebook / Facebook & supporters blogs and forums , piece them all together and hey presto …….a scoop for an independent journalist .

 

It's somewhat true. We use local papers but never Facebook groups or forums, etc, as your information has to be reliable or you lose credibility. Editors will always ask for your sources

 

This would make sense. Rupp cancelled his interview with radio Leeds this month and pushed it back to the end of summer.

that says to me he’s putting it off to get an easier ride after a significant summer spend.
