Permanent Signings Under Gent

Crichlow and Banks excepted, the loan signings have been truly abysmal, that's one thing that stands out.

The other is offering long contracts to the likes of Oduor and Smith

 

I was just about to say the same but add Wright to the successes as well.

That still leaves 10 loan players who barely look league standard.

 

It's the giving out of 3 year deals to players we've never met before that I cannot understand -

Wilson

Surely you give a 3 year deal out when you know what you are getting and you like the attitude of the player.

Yes but it can't be that difficult to spot rancid fruit.

Plus dont forget during the summer City paid nominal fees for the likes of Richards and Wilson(and Oduor?) which i approved of at the time UNTIL i saw them play and thought cheap season tickets only get you so far
