Paying for sky sports...

    Well if you are try this...

    Apparently you can pause until the sport is back on and your ready to shell out again

    Had this posted by a freind and apparently goes live tomorrow

    When you call the some the call centre say that you can't do this and it's cancel only.

    Then they increase your price because sky sports might be part of the deal to make it a cheaper package so taking it away ends that.

    However, let's see if that app works tomorrow with out increasing your price.

    Not sure who you've been calling. Mate at work did phoned Sky at lunch time and they put it on hold for him for 2 months. His bill has gone down by £18/month.

    Wouldn't it be best of just cancelling it?

    Sky will be offering massive insensitives for people to rejoin sky sports.

    I had the same message for a long time until it switched to another screen asking for my user details. Having put in my details that then transferred me to yet another screen which allowed me to 'Pause' Sky Sports by clicking on a buton. And then I waited for confirmation of the Pause. That never came and since then I've been looking at a blank Sky screen with a revolving circle for over an hour. And I can still access Sky Sports!

    I don't think they're making this easy at all.

    do on PC rather than phone and it works straight away

    Mmmm. Now it appears Sky are having 'Technical Difficulties' and I have to start again!

    Edit - Despite the 'Technical Difficulties' screen, a quick look at the future bills shows that my Sky Sports has been paused (although still available on screen), that payment for SS has been removed for future months and a credit for the current month and a couple of days has been deducted from the next bill. What a PITA to get it all sorted

    That was using the laptop. It appears from looking online that the MySky app on tablets and Android phones isn't working as it should. Windows laptops are the future!

    I'm just about to try but has anyone tried to cancel or pause sports on Virgin? I have Sky and BT Sports. I've held off as long as I can because I know Mr. Branson needs my support but going to try to sort it today.
