    How have I made stuff up ? They haven't lost any defenders but the team will be more open in order to play more attacking football. I'm sure even you could see what I was getting at .

    But who said they have to play more attacking football? Parkinson won’t allow a Chairman to dictate what style his teams should be. This is the part I don’t get.

    Phil has a certain style and it has helped him at most of the clubs he’s been at. Leicester tried getting him to introduce a more expansive style and he got sacked shortly into that stint. Why would Bolton (who played a similar way for many years under Big Sam) instruct him to play against his principles?

    Phil cannot spot a good striker, that much I agree with. He got lucky with Nahki and again with Madine (even if I don’t rate him).

    You say he won't be told how to play yet before the last game of the season the chairman promised the fans that a more attacking plan would be in place for the last game of the season. And it was.

    As did Julian Rhodes if I remember correctly, yes everyone wants great attacking football but he's still building at Bolton and if he can make them a midtable team this coming season Andeson is being unreasonable to want more.
    That is of course unless Anderson flashes the cash to enable Parky to bring some better attacking options in, talk is cheap maybe he's just trying to pacify the fans because he's not digging into his own pocket, as I say give the manager the funds to do what he's asking of him.
