Anderson sounds shocking. Not quite sure what Bowyer sees in him. A knackered O'Brien would offer more surely. I assume Bowyer thought OB needed a break?

Yep, this is a line in the sand. We are doomed, no question whatsoever, it's time to plan for next season and start letting players know they won't be staying.

 

Spot on, the man with the money and so called excellent business acumen has ballsed up just as much by allowing the insane Rahic to get away with so much for so long..

 

Unless these lot get their heads out of their ar$e$ then I'm done for this season. Come back next season when we might have a team that tries and is worth supporting because this shower are hopeless. Poor team, poor tactics, poor formation. Its just awful.

Sorry to all those who went today but I'm just glad I didn't spend 4-5 hours and £60 making the effort.

You won't hear me taking Stefan side, I have openly posted he should have had his finger on the pulse and been more hands on, yes it's a football club but it's still a business, he must have had full confidence in Rahic to allow him to carry on the way he did, although we now know Rahic was a charlatan/con-man.
He wont be the first joint owner to put most of the money into our club, the Rhodes family can be questioned at why they let Geoffrey Richmond to get away with them being the major financial backers, should they have been more aware of what was going on at the time ?.

I won't be getting on bowyers back just yet.... he has nothing to work with in terms of players.

 

I think we can safely say that this mess is down to Rahic and the fact that the players he signed are just not good enough. Three managers can't get performances out of them the issue is with the players. I can't see how getting rid of Bowyer would improve anything but I have to say I'm a little surprised by his selection today. Clarke instead of Payne is like having a cheap ham sandwich instead of a steak it's barmy! Playing Butterfield out wide instead of through the middle again crackers.

The frightening thing is some of those that are absolutely garbage will likely still be here next season and I'm fearful for what will happen. Who would want Wright/Riley/Reeves/NKP/Doyle/Akpan/Scannell/Chicksen?

Looks like the controversy is allowing a quickly taken goal kick with 8 players in the box. Ref has to blow his whistle to start play for goal kicks.

 

As I say whether we deserved anything or not, big calls are certainly not going our way lately.

 

Forward thinking is something we simply have not employed since Lawn, Rhodes and Parky left.

Really sad demise.

 

The club has never been “forward thinking” even under lawn and Rhodes it went season to season, saved by cup runs and some good fees for youngsters.

We need a plan and a structure but our problem is we want it all now and if we don’t get results the manager goes and we scrap it all and have to start again.

 

I will be buying a season ticket, but this is the first season for around 30 years that I haven’t given a crap about missing home games, only been to Rochdale away (decent pick though) and I have no idea where this downward spiral will end, but i’d be very surprised if we are challenging for promotion next season. I find it hard to explain just how quickly I have lost a feeling of closeness to the club. I’ve seen a fair few relegations and near misses but this is the worst for me. It’s more than that. It all just seems a great shame.
