What fecking manager comes in and goes even more defensive then the previous? Seriously poor.

Rupp has a responsibility to sort this shit show with serious backing next season. I hope he lives up to his promises

That is up there with the most abject performances I’ve seen as a City fan.
Back four did ok in difficult conditions - Akpan did ok. The other front five were atrocious. -

Ah well we fully deserve all we get, been awful all season so best to be put out of our misery i suppose. That's me done for VP not travelling over for L2.

I think the season is now totally lost. No miraculous escape from this one. Six points adrift, effectively seven given our dreadful goal difference.
This is the end of this season as we know it and l feel crap! -
Totally numb. Why don't I feel worse?

For those trying to catch up with the ref farce at the end, here’s my take.
1. City had a break, Miller squares it to LOB who puts it wide from 8 yards.
2. As LoB hits it, a challenge comes in.
3. Oxford take a quick goal kick and counter. As they’re doing this, the Lino in their half doesn’t flag.
4. They go and score.
5. The ref then gets called by the lino in the oxford half and disallows the goal, signalling a city pen, presumably for the challenge on LoB
6. After consultation with the 4th official, he reverts to his original decision.
Farcical but it wasn’t a pen and the decision was right.
We were garbage and fully deserved to lose.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

We were 2nd best and deserved to be beaten by all accounts but if Ref can't do his job and I know they don't have it easy but that decision was shocking and a demotion beckons for him as it does us.

'Rupp has a responsibility to sort this shit show with serious backing next season. I hope he lives up to his promises.'.
Really? Grow up. Why would he? if you seriously believe he is going to throw even more money at this utter basket case of a club, you are seriously deluded. We are down and we will finish bottom of a very poor league. Thousands will not renew (even at that price it is shit value for money), sponsors will disappear in droves and we will really struggle to stay in the League. I can see non league football and oblivion on the (near) horizon.
For a brief moment this morning I thought about going today. Fecking glad I didn't and will certainly find something better things to do with my Saturdays. Meanwhile, Payne counts his dosh. Bowyer walks away at the end of the season (we didn't much from the Grayson scenario then?) and the club is utterly rudderless, skint and........................need I go on?
EVERY decision this club has made in the last two seasons has been completely the wrong one. This is NOT a professional sports club. I am embarrassed, whereas once (and fairly recently) I was proud and thought we had something special going on.
