    Maybe on Racism I'm obsessed.

When you have life experiences of racism of what happened to me and my family then it's not easy to forget.

The majority of my asian neighbours are great people but like in any demographic they is a racist element and that bit has scarred me for life in my memory.

Sorry if the post sounds like a poor me but that's the way it is with me.

Very interesting reading the comment section after Shah pledged her support to the new charity partnership at City. I can kinda see a pattern in the replies......

That's the point, very much who is the candidate rather than the party, I would suspect most Asians vote Labour ?.

Sorry to hear about that but do a bit of research into that tweet and you'll soon see the truth.

I'm not getting embroilled into an argument over a deeply personal issue . To call everyone " the usual racist " is disengenuous, the fact was she re-tweeted it , then realised the mistake and quickly removed it .

So it's ok to call those people who vote for those you don't like in General Elections, 'thick as pig shit'. But if you dare to suggest that many who voted for Brexit didn't understand the implications of what they voted for, you are a pie in the sky, liberal elitist who's out of touch with the views of ordinary people.

    Interesting double standard.

Voted for Brexit ?, you mean the democratic majority that voted to leave in 2016 ?, the same people who ignore the " you dont know what you voted for scenario" . Are you suggesting that Brexit voters are stupid ?, is it only the losing remainers that know the full story should have been allowed to vote ?. Rather pompous statement , the " ordainary people " had their say in the referendum .

You seem to have completely missed my point. Edin Nowhere suggested that people who vote for Naz Shah are 'thick as pig shit'. By the same token, some people have suggested the same about those who voted for Brexit, but are immediately criticised. Why is it ok for one group of voters to be branded as stupid because they vote a certain way, but not for another group of voters?

I never said that you said it. But you are implying that people who vote for Naz Shah are thick and none of her regular critics have challenged that. Yet when people suggest that some Brexit voters are ignorant then all hell breaks loose immediately. It's a double standard.

All of this is your well known and oft repeated view about Naz Shah. But it doesn't address the issue that I raised.

Because many people are just as nonplussed about why millions of others would vote for something that seems certain to damage them, as you are about why people would vote for Naz Shah.
People clearly have their reasons for voting that others often don't understand, whether that's voting for Naz Shah or voting for Brexit. But it seems it's ok to call one lot thick for doing so, but not the other.

I think you softening your stance on Brexit mate at one time your comment would be "why millions of others would vote for something that will certainly damage them" ;).
