GB has been sacked and McGod has returned to the #bantamfamily* fold. We currently reside one place oiutside of the Play-off spots. It looks as though there is much to aim for in what many call a weak division. There'll be twists and turns for sure but will McCall & Black be able to do better than Bowyer & Drury in terms of a final league position?

Where do you expect us to finish this season under the leadership of McCall?

I expect us to finish 6th or 7th and win promotion in the play off final

I think if we reach the play offs we will not now be seen as an easy touch as we might have done with GB, i'm sure we will at least be more competitive from now on....

Don't think we'd have had to worry about the Playoffs Tony, comfortably mid table/ bottom half finish was coming our way. We were in free fall and the players were never going to play for him. Couldn't figure out where the next points were coming from? Hopefully now, onwards and upwards.

I actually agree with this. Still 3-4 places higher than we would have finished with Bowyer at the helm. McCall is good but he can’t make a silk purse from a sow’s ear. Not sure we have enough goals now the likes of James Vaughan, Eoin Doyle and Aramide Oteh have left.

And let’s not forget that he still has to make a tighter midfield from the likes of Akpan, Anderson, Devine, Cooke, Taylor and Reeves

    No pressure at all.

He has an 18mth contract and considering the shit show he has inherited, if we get anywhere near 3rd spot it would be a minor miracle.

My point was simply he must reach the play offs. Nothing more.

It would have been expected of Warnock had he arrived...

    Totally unrealistic.

We don't have a very good strike force anymore, the club saw to that in January, and while the squad is capable of top three from a level playing field, we've lost too much ground.

I can't see a single reason to expect us to get 14 points more than Plymouth, which is what we'd potentially need with games in hand.

If we sneak third, it's a HUGE achievement, and a MASSIVE result - but to expect it because the league is poor is, in itself, poor.

I believe, with three games to go, we'll still be in with an outside chance of autos. I mean, we're only 7 points off now with 45pts still available.

    We will see after Saturday.
If we go out and perform whilst getting any victory then expectation levels will go through the roof.
get a follow up win against Stevenage then anything is possible.

I read an interview yesterday with a Grimsby player who was saying they haven't given up on reaching the play offs. They are currently 14 points adrift of 7th. I hope our players have the same kind of belief that an auto place is still possible.
