    England will play at 7pm on Saturday Dec 10th if they win the group and get through to QF.
    No chance of getting home to see it and I wouldn’t fancy hanging around in Gillingham until 9-10pm.
    Unless they move it to Sunday it’ll be a very poor turnout

    This will almost certainly happen too.

    There's no way Gillingham especially would want to sacrifice upward of 5 figures in gate receipts and matchday revenue. We will definitely see a EFL-wide revisal of that weekend's fixtures.

    Friday 19:45 or Sunday lunch time.

    If they are wanting to change it they will need to give police two weeks notice so they can change shifts etc, not sure what league rules say but can not see them letting it be a late change

    Sorry I think you’ve misunderstood, I know that England won’t be playing at 3pm but they will be playing at 7pm so it means any city fan travelling to Gillingham would not be able to watch it unless they want to hang around until 10pm, 250 miles away from home.

    Think I’ll just watch on iFollow then be local to watch England game in familiar surroundings. Bollox to a 10 hour round trip to a shit ground.

    I'm watching on ifollow Been to Gillingham twice it's a terrible away day and after getting soaked on the Golf stand I vowed never again.

    Never been to Gillingham and the uncovered area always put me off, particularly as it always seems to be pissing down when we play them. I was contemplating driving it, but I went to Sutton and will also be at Orient, so a 3rd 450+ mile round trip in the space of 4 weeks is pushing it a bit

    It's Gillingham, with a crowd of around 5,000. I can't imagine they need a whole host of extra police drafting in for that one.

    I think the players should play the Covid card and have the game postponed.
    Or maybe if Charles pops his clogs a few days before, it’ll be off.

    I'll inevitably drop my umbrella through the temporary seating again and have to scramble underneath to find it. Just hope it stays dry. Advertising suggests u14s are free which will be great as my daughter qualifies.

    Yer they're crap though. You're right at the corner flag and low down. See next to nothing. The uncovered stand is crap but at least being elevated it easier to see to the other end of the pitch.

    The only time I've been to Gillingham it was cracking the flags. We were all roasting in the uncovered end. Players stopped for official drinks breaks, which was the first time I've ever seen that happen.
