I was told Town had first bags on Kai when we let him go.

 

As a club over they years we have dropped a few clangers with regards players being signed on their past records in Aaron McLeans case 3/4 years previous, then John McGinley was far behind but they are far from two isolated signings.
But this appointment has got to rank as the biggest and possibly the most disastrous in the clubs history.

I can only think of two reasons @How why Micheal Collins and Martin Drury were promoted from Youth coaches to senior and assistant, and for me they were a cheap option which has now blown up in our faces, and/or Edin saw it as a way to actually play football manager with involvement into team matters, I'm not suggesting him picking the team although I have heard that one, but maybe bouncing football idea's off Micheal, delivered with a very stern look on Edins face.

I think we talked ourselves out of every other appointment and we had run out of time and had to appoint Collins. Oh and he’s the cheap option. Had to be otherwise we wouldn’t have sacked him so soon

 

All very sad, so much expectation when they arrived in 2016, saying the stuff us fans wanted to hear, McCall, taking us to Wembley going one better than Parky, then The Ego thinks he know best/football, and it's all been down hill since .
