    Day bets and season bets placed.
    Clobber on.
    Boozer.
    Expecting a city win, but, much like most teams this season, away teams tactics will be to quieter the crowd - which doesn't take alot anyway! - and have some god awful 7ft CB dish out some hefty challenges. Will be a tough, physical game, but expecting our quality to prevail and come out on top 3-1.
    Then back to the pub.
    And repeat again next Saturday, only followed by fish and chips after!

    Be meltdown on here this evening if we dont win. I am quietely optimistic, just forgotten what the quality is like down here in the 4th tier, so dont know what to expect from Cambridge

    Cambridge, didnt they replace Avenue in the football league?.

    Seems a lifetime ago that we played Cambridge. I know we have played them since, but my only memories of them are going with a hangover to their ground on New Years Day in late 70's with my then girlfriend, and the night we clinched promotion there in 1985

    Good! Maybe Gibson in his place then with the Albanian coming in on either wing, or Devine in the middle.
    Or not 442 at all.
    Either way, need a new midfielder and left winger!

    The club have just tweeted pics of the shirts hung up in the dressing room with heritage numbers on them. One of them is number 1205 which is Thomas Thorpe's number ????????

    Edited to add the goalie shirt has number 1255 on it which is A O'Connor's number and number 1263 is there on an outfield shirt but that number belongs to Ben Wilson!?!?

    Looks a strange team to me. Lacking in balance. Like 2018/19 all over again.... though at least we’ve got some leadership and hopefully some proper defenders
