On this day 2nd June 1998 a fans favourite Stuart McCall returned to Valley Parade on a free transfer. Stuart was Paul Jewells first summer signing that year. Leading us into the premiership the following year. Its sad realy how our heroes are treated and times change. Hopefully we can continue living the dream and achieve our goals. Also on this day 2009 we released a chap called Paul Heckingbottom ! I dont think a lot will happen today 2nd June 2018 so for me a chill out day, couple of pints of Landlord maybe and dream on. No Fish Supper though i am on a diet.

I thought when you were on a diet beer was also not allowed ;).

Good memories @Rocket@Rocket I remember a forum when someone asked Big Geoff about the possibility of Stuarts return, he said he would love to bring Stuart back but with a transfer fee and his high wages he didnt think it could happen.
I believe Rangers let him go on a free because he wanted to return to his club, and I would suggest in returning to Bradford City Stuart took a massive hit in his salary, but that does not suprise me where Stuart is concerned.

Yeah the diet Bronco I still allow myself some treats a couple of pints being one. Being an ex General of the Keighley Massive I think this is deserved .Now I am retired I achieve my daily steps not every day the local Hostilery unless I am celebrating a City victory unfortunately not often.

If your vice is celebrating city victories you must be as thin as a rake.
