Valley Parade 1966 still had the old terraced house in Burlington Terrace where the players changed and came out under the pitch years before, top left of the Kop.

Maybe in hindsight we should have moved up there taken the old Avenue ground and the cricket ground.

    1936 Photo.

. Manningham station is out of shot. Go to the end of Midland Rd at Queens road turn tight go down 20 yards opposite side of road is a slope down to the stone yard. The stone yard was created out of the station. That was the station forecourt. Manningham steam shed entrance was to be found at the top of the junction where Bolton Lane leaves Queens Rd. Clarke’s engineering of old where the Ripper worked was built on the shed land after demolition.
