For all we know it might have been an off the cuff remark that has been taken as a major announcement. It'll probably be the announcement of a head scout.

I really wish the injuries hadn't affected us as much as they have, then we wouldn't have had the usual suspects looking under every rock to find something to criticise the club with. If Adams had been told the injury problems of certain players was a thing of the past and then within weeks they've broken down again, you can understand his rage. Sparks told us that signing crocks was a thing of the past, so someone must be accountable for that.

Did we sign that many bad players in the summer? At this level you are always asking too much if you’re signing 8/10 every window

I’d say there’s been Angol as a positive, he’s getting better by the day. Ridehalgh is a steady league two player, Threlkeld has too many mistakes costing a goal in him, the forwards apart from Cook and Kelleher are shit, Songo’o as the centre piece signing not playing at all is much a mystery as why we signed Samuels and Burrell. Eisa who knows.

So that’s probably two maybe three positives so far. I’d prefer a few more positives and fewer players you’d be looking to ditch in January.

Not sure Rowe could be described as poor, he scored some vital goals for us as we climbed away from danger last season and I believe we got back what we paid for him.

 

Do you believe we'll employ another head of recruitment, Adams comes across as a manager who very much likes to be the man who makes all the calls with regards the football side of things, has he worked under a head of recruitment at passed club do you know ?.

 

October is when @Fordy117 gets out of the slammer and can start to play a more active part to rescue the club.

 

Oh come on, yes he scored the odd vital goal, but let’s be honest he was crap. What else did he contribute?

 

We would be very foolish to let him try and do it all himself
What happens if he gets fed up and leaves or he gets sacked as he has twice before
We won't have a clue

Mr Sparks needs to be dictating to him how the club should be run

I thought he showed a couple of flashes of energy last night in midfield and I’d start him there before Evans and play FCD at right back.

His footballing ability is National League. The rest is pretty irrelevant for me.
