    I've only just seen the incident. I gave no idea the real reason behind it but it wasn't the massive gesture I was expecting to see. I thought I would see him ripping it from his arm and hurling it at the back of the net. Embarrassing and disrespectful - maybe, but I think the reaction is just another example of how totally pissed off we are as fans with the shambles that is Bradford City at the moment

    I've never seen anything like that. It was appalling and unprofessional behaviour from one of our own players and shouldn't go unpunished. I hope that firm action is taken against him.

    Staggered. The coach journey home will be interesting. Would n’t be surprised to hear about infighting taking place tonight. I voted against Steve Evans coming in but this bunch need someone to knock them about and the likes of Evans and Warnock can do that. They’ll walk all over Drury.

    I'm a third generation Bantams fan, like many of you out there. From all the stories my Grandad and Dad told me, and through everything I've experienced at Valley Parade in my 59 years of life, I don't know of any player at our so much valued club disrespecting us like this. O'Connor should never pull on the claret and amber again. Get him out of here. A total disgrace. I am SO blazing about this.

    Surely you would expect him to be professional? He obviously took the armband. Only one person to blame here and that's O'Connor! He didn't tell the manager to feck off, he accepted it. He is just trying to make a public statement.

    Even if he kept us up, would you still not want him?The likes of Bowyer or Hurst are nice quiet types, they won't galvanise this lot. Evans just might, just give him a contract till end of season and see what happens.
