    Do you remember the free kick he scored against qpr I think. Wow what a great goal that was, but again no winnings for you as it wasn’t 1st goal but an equaliser if I remember right

    He was feisty. After he left us I remember hearing about Pepper getting a red card as he was being stretchered off the pitch with a double leg break because he'd chinned the guy that did it to him.

    No I remember the time he introduced himself, he asked me if I was Bronco from Claret & Banter before I answered I made sure I was far enough away he wouldn't connect with his first.

    Good enough for who? He hadn't played regularly since 2013 (4 years) when he joined City and then didn't play regularly again until he dropped out of the league in 2020.

    I was starting to doubt myself and it took a bit of digging and admitedly I thought he was at Halifax at the time rather than Scunny but I've found it in a whole article about players getting sent off and stretchered off so he's not the only one to do it!

    The most surprising snippet of information in the article is that Nigel is apparently called Colin!

    He was good enough for Port Vale when he scored 9 in 19 in the league then joined us in January and got 5 in 15 in the 2nd half of the season. Jones ended up with 11 in 21 for Port Vale in all comps then 11 goals and 5 assist in 15 for us.

    Its the old myth where a player gets better the longer they don't play for you. Nothing against Chicksen but he was pretty poor for us.
