But its real ale m8. The fact that most of this city's culture doesn't allow them to drink and most of the rest and the footy fans are quite happy drinking pish isn't a great recipe for real ale bars. I don't mind a pint but i'd quite happily go to the shoulder or Wetherspoons rather than pay silly money.

North Parade flatters to deceive. There's nothing special about it. people just hype it because of real ale and want to believe it's saved bradford's nightlife. but it hasn't really. everywhere is largely too small, and its dead like all the time.

It's a real shame but there just isn't the footfall, l only go on now to pay my credit card at the RBS because I've forgotten my online details.
The NP bars are usually shut or empty, only the Record Cafe seems never to be empty. As soon as those bars started to open, the council should have closed NP to traffic, then it might have had a chance, something might have grown from there.......maybe. RBS itself is like time warp 1974 building society.
Drumwinder looks like it's been furnished by sending a 12 year old with £200 to Home Bargains.
Went to the Beehive at Shipley recently, had a good time, an absolute comical Fannys rip off but it was very busy. It'll pick up a lot of summer business when the large rear beer garden opens. Good night is Saltaire/Shipley.Jayteebee likes this. -
Agree with the above. Get to saltaire really. Fair few on top road now too.

I went up there after all.... wasn't overly impressed tbh although there was a few out the back of the Peacock .... had a decent refreshing pint of cider there.
Went slumming after that to the Ambassador. -
