That's the only flaw in your argument that they get mullered every week -

Is it a cause for concern? Probably. Am I a little concerned? A little but not a whole lot.
But 3 of those games were in the cup, of which all 3 were against higher league opposition. So a little perspective needed.
The last two were both away. Plymouth, they will be there and there's about. Macclesfield, reasonably decent at home.
So cause for concern in terms of results? Yeah, just about.
A cause for concern in terms of performance? Very much but come on, they are obvious issues within our squad that have bven apparent since the season started. A lack of balance, holding midfield, creative width, right back. A manager, whom just hasnt knotted it all together but has us in a decent position. Not exactly, sack the manager time.
So coupled with the injury to our best hold up player in CD, I'm not overly surprised. Not particularly happy as you always want your team to be top of the pile. But not overly surprised nonetheless.
That said, time to hold our nerve. Injuries subsiding. Not exactly the worst position in the league ( could be better, of course) and a period of decent fixtures. -

For people who think I was unfair on some of our players from last season, it's for reasons like this.
Strike if you have to, but if you're on the job, do your best - if not for you, if not for your employers, but for your customers.
That still remains the reason Doyle and AOC can go on free transfers as far as I'm concerned. -
Or is it just a player thing for you from last season?Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Rupp, apparently, had no idea the problems we had. More fool him. He is partially to blame, obviously, but has shown a willingness to make amends without selling to the first Johnny-come-lately.
Drury, was there anyone lower down the ladder than him? No idea how to judge his performance. -
Rupp, has be taken the McBarnie money? Might be wrong but first chance to pocket and has done? If you're forgiving him as he will say he will make amends then surely AOC who has played well should be forgiven?
Rhodes, didn't he sell to Edin and Rupp.
Point is that you can't just blame the players for where we are at mate. Last season is done! We need to move forward. This club doesn't move forward in anyway and it needs too.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

seems to me bowyers an excellent man manager and organiser defensively but lacks a bit of tactical nous or is stubborn in his approach. Absolutely pointless sacking him after letting him buy the whole squad though, certainly things to improve on but we are at the v least much tougher to beat than last season and have a bit of fight in the team. I would also say he's generally recruited good players who have improved the squad.
Best 11 til donaldo gets back for me is a 4-4-2 with oteh/Vaughan up top. Not a world beater but seems to put himself about a bit which might help get more of a tune out of Vaughan. -
