We play down the middle time after time, 60/70% of all goals come from crosses and from width but Adams continually ignores any wide players while successful teams use wingers to get behind teams and put crosses in, It seems to be the Adams way but it plays in to other teams hands as we have little outlet, Adams will of course blame mistakes from players but the biggest mistake was hiring him,

Agree that we play way too narrow. We looked a different team when Vernam went off today. Gillead offered nothing and plays too centrally. Vernam and Foulds offered great width down the left with Foulds overlapping runs. End products often are questionable, but if they were consistent at all times, they wouldn’t be at this level! I’m longing to see 4-4-2 with Cook and Elliot now with crosses flowing in!

We weren’t in need of wingers first half midfield was pushed up we were winning and dominating the ball and were opening Crawley up with Walker Daly and Vernham all causing them problems with some slick inter passing and we were high pressing them.
Straight from the kick off second half we dropped deeper the pressing stopped and our only offering came from long ball in sharp contrast to the first half.
Now what I don’t know is if this is a tactic from the manager or the mentality of the players.

The marking for those goals is terrible. Any cross in and the team always win the ball and sometimes score. Poor
