My man of the match today, back to his best in our upturn in form.

 

Also, a honourable note to Ryan McGowan whom has been very good, since coming in against Scunny.

Especially at Sunderland.

 

I still say that the addition of Caddis has completely transformed the back4/5. His reading of the game and game management is second to none.

 

I would like to ask why his form has changed so much.
All his buddies left, leaving him all at sea.

Fitness seems to increasingly becoming the answer to the squad issues in general. Heck, I didn't totally hate Chicksen today either, he still made questionable decisions about when to commit and when not to commit but he seemed to have an extra bit of speed that he's been lacking.

 

I remember DH saying the players didn't hardly know each other when he first came in, this seems to have been addressed and we are now reaping the rewards, and they are now battling for each other, long may it continue.

 

Without a doubt the lad has made a big difference to our defense an old head, he reads the game and he's not often caught out, also like to have his say about referees decisions always in the referees ear, Tony McMahon mark 2.

 

Agree, but he's an upgrade on Mr McMahon Bronco surely?

 

Don't think I could name any player past or present for city whose form fluctuates as much as NKP. Looks class one month and then inept the next. Let's hope this is the NKP we get from now on.

 

Funny cos I said the same today that Caddis was an upgrade on TM but more subtle in the way he goes about his game.

It just shows how badly we've needed that bit of experience at the back. You can see it when we're pressing up front, he's speaking to the back line, making sure they're positioned & we're giving away infinitely less stupid breaks as a result because we're READY for them.

 

No I'm not saying he's inferior, without doubt a far better defender that Tony Mc.

 

NKP had an excellent game, and McGowan looks to have stepped up, benefitting from the introduction of Caddis.

Would prefer us to keep McGowan of the two, never fully taken to NKP who has had long periods of poor form and just isn't top end of L1 despite some performances suggesting otherwise..

 

Caddis and McMahon pretty similar in terms of ability, but completely different in the way they go about it.

Both have had similar effects at times.
