Seeing as the supporters board have brought up ticket pricing for next year I thought It would be an idea to get the average fans thoughts

My own opinion is that things stay as they are , Raising could be financial suicide

    Raise it slightly, maybe £25.

If prices went up to £250 and some fans didn’t renew, they’d only end up paying £25 per game instead of £10 when we’re top of the league and they get FOMO.

In a world of dodgy firesticks and Ifollow they could be lost to the game

A lot of fans are borderline as it is

They should reduce it. If the club want to keep the numbers up.

    Fans trust wearing thin.

Wasn't that long ago we were getting 17k currently down to 15k.

Out of interest I had a look at Derby County season ticket prices for this season.
To get anywhere near the prices we pay you’d have to have 10 years consecutive season tickets but I also see they have a price tier where seats on the side are more expensive.
They sold 10000 season tickets apparently.

I love that idea of a discount for long standing ST holders, but doubt our systems could handle that

Can you imagine the meltdown if prices were higher in the Morrisons and Midland Road stands?
“I’ve sat with the same people for years and now I can’t afford it”

it is the right thing to do though. Why should someone in the top corner of the Kop with a restricted view pay the same as someone sat on the half way line?

There are thousands of kids tickets in the total at 30 pounds a season. I think some people buy one to reserve a seat next to them all season for 30 pounds.

Doesn’t surprise me. That way a non ST holder can buy any available seat and know they have a reserved seat next to their pals.
This means there are fewer decent seats available to buy on a match by match basis.
The club really needs to look at that and find a way to analyse how many of these cheap kids tickets are actually used / scanned on a matchday.

I’ve also heard that businesses are buying up groups of seats in the suites just in case they might need to entertain clients. These are not used for every game.
This means that fans who fancy upgrading their seat a few times a season often cannot, yet there are hundreds of seats empty.

ST monies are guaranteed income for the club regardless of performance.
Push the prices up too far and reduce sales is a risky business, especially if you have our usual dismal seasons.
But if we do we'll, more pay-on-the-day punters at higher prices. The trouble with this is a) we have to perform well consistently and b) it's non-guaranteed income which makes budgeting for transfers etc difficult.
The other consideration is the rise of illegal streaming of games, which will see folk prefer the comfort of their sofa to VP

Ill renew as long as DD option is available.

My enthusiasm for renewing depends on how well we end the season and how strong the anti Rupp stuff is if results are bad - will boycott if its only way to drive change and it seems that’s only way forward for the club.

Wright was a good signing to appease fans but we must go on another run now and time the new marketing campaign to coincide with that.

Of course supporters can afford it.
Loads have season tickets and don't show up when the games on IFollow and pay another tenner to watch it at home.
£50 increase, £5 a month on the direct debit scheme.
    A fiver FFS!!
If some are quabbling over that much then we've no chance of moving up the leagues.

Would be happy for say a £25 increase providing the additional money was used for team improvements.

Happy for another £25 if it goes to the Sparks replacement manager fund.

Not happy to pay a penny more.

The budget is substantial and they squander it badly.

Squandering an even bigger budget that we're funding is stupidity defined.

Once we have competent leadership, I'll pay more, but not doing it for the sake of it.

Agreed, the interest free DD / Subscription model is the way forward to stealth increases in ST prices as nobody can honestly say hand on heart that they’d miss an extra £5 or even £10 a month.
Sky and Virgin and Netflix manage to put their prices up annually and I bet most people just continue with it
