Next manager

I am amazed at how many so called fans would call it a day if x or y got the job.
There are lots of managers looking for work , the majority all have similar career records and have failed somewhere.
The only thing special about Bradford city is ,its special to us the fans, just like any other club.
Whoever gets the job will get my backing until they have proved to be capable or otherwise of managing this football club to better days.

 

Agree twitter is just so toxic who ever we appoint they would find something too moan about been supporting city for 30 years support the club and who ever the manager should be

 

Yes huge changes needed. Sparky pants needs to resign and Rupp needs to sell up. We need proper football men involved at the top.

Yeah, if you choose to see it within the narrow confines of football management that's up to you. As I've mentioned elsewhere I can't see bradford university continuing sponsorship if Barton arrives, and I'm pretty sure the female fans I know will also be giving City a wide berth. Sport has to be about more than success on the pitch - it also can, or should, demonstrate the better aspects of human behaviour. I cant hold my nose and clap at the same time.

Are people seriously saying they don’t want Barton here or wouldn’t attend if he got made manager? Bizarre and probably a lie.
Alexander would be a decent appointment if it’s him who’s to be announced. He’s had success at our level and is about the best we can expect. Whoever it is will get my full support.

 

Why is that then?

 

Who ever gets the job, he needs to look into the recruitment side of things because if it stays the same then its only matters of time average or below average players for league 2 gets you the boot.

 

I get that, don't think the new manager appointment is going to be overly exciting but you never know, he might just be the one!

Agree completely, but would they give the job to someone who questioned their recruitment and methods? Unfortunately, I can't see them employing someone who might challenge them and rock the boat.

Managers have always been allowed to bring their own players in and to choose or reject players so can’t see conflict there
