Next manager

I'm not bothered about who turned us down it's the one who excepts the role of manager that interests me and if they can buck the trend and be successful for once.
I live in hope.

 

I wouldn't be against Joey but I'd think far to risky for Ryan and Bradford City.

 

The current manager fiasco is embarrassing and way beyond anything the club's dished up over the years.
Why does everything we do become a soap opera played out on social media these days.
If I didn't know better I would say we are entering pantomime season early this year.

 

Why would we want to do that, once your fan base starts leaving (for whatever reason) and find other things to do on a Saturday afternoon you cant just turn the tap on and expect them to return, you have read fans on here saying they wouldn't return whilst Hughes was manager and they are die hard fans.

 

Which is what he's now got anyway but looks even worse.

And he clearly told mcdonald we had new manager sorted, which leaves us in this ridiculous Trueman situation a caretaker taking over from a caretaker

I believe him. Family will definitely have been a factor. May not be the only factor but it will definitely have been a factor. Maybe he reflected and decided that with other things would be too much.

 

Bollocks to it, give the job to Trueman.

Give him a 5 year contract, and we can re-evaluate his progress next week.

He's made the situation a whole lot worse for himself by not being upfront and honest about it because now we all know that the 'final interviews' line was a lie.

 

Chances are he found out about Cowley's decision on Monday or Tuesday.

He might have already invited the next best candidate for a final interview, but surely they'd be revealed by the weekend if that was the case?

 

Based on my previous point , it’s not a great deal of money to him, as a result he can probably afford to walk away and write it off as a tax loss. On that basis there’s only group to suffer and that’s us.

Such a proposal is akin to shooting oneself in both feet imho.

I will give you this, if it wants to focus the minds, sure you are right, but ridiculous ideas like , let’s have a demo…. Oh my.

What if he offers shareholding to fans, say £10,000 a pop. Let’s see how many invest ? Let them put their money where their keyboard sits?

 

Clearly neither of us know why he paid the bill, certainly he’s invested well outside his wallet size perhaps?

 

Can't wait to find out who we have eventually offered the job to.

You are spot on, who the yell would apply for a post without discussing the consequences with the family FIRST. Perhaps an absolute naive fool who went into it “I won’t get the job, because I probably lacked confidence in doing so.”
