Seen on another general footy forum that I'm on, apparently it's between Gary Monk and Neil Harris for the Bristol R job.

Also noticed that Leam Richardson has gone from 12/1 this morning for the Lincoln job to 6/4. Pretty big jump but could well be a small betting market and £20 on LR has pushed him to the top. It does mean Cowley is no longer the bookies favourite to go back to Lincoln.

 

If cowley is appointed here now after this palaver, it would feel like a coup!

 

It's getting to the point that if we manage to appoint anyone it will be a coup.

This is a forum to discuss and in a way vent your frustrations at a club I go up and down the country to see. I am ashamed at how bad we are run and its current hierarchy doesn’t represent my club. We are a million miles away from having any right to be sarcastic about other clubs workings.

I am not getting into it with you but other posters have commented at how condescending and in my opinion rude your posts are.

I don't understand this final round of interviews.. surely you can tell a manager is good with his previous record, why do you need more than one interview, what are we recruiting for ? a sales person ?... Spark needs to leave now, he knows nothing about football... SPARKS OUT!

You said WE are a laughing stock remember? You might feel like that, however I don’t. What is laughable is how serious you and others take this process, without knowing anything of the task if you have a large number of applicants.
I have yet to hear anyone say Gillingham are a laughing stock, yet they only appointed their new coach this afternoon, even though we are both fishing in the same swamp. Perhaps you missed it?
You have to make your mind up, recruit an unsuitable manager in a week or someone who is better regarded over a longer period.

It’s normal practise if you have say three or four good applicants at first interview with similar records. Best practice to be fair.
